BUILDING STEPS
1 STAGE – SPADE WORK, ADDITIONAL MATERIALS, TOOLS
- a foundation foot must be leveled with 5 mm tolerance, even and clean
- to outline on the foundation surface with the help of a chalky cord contours of walls, to mark places of window and door apertures - the blocks desirably to place in the middle of the foundation plate with a space from the edges
2 STAGE – FURST TURN ASSEMBLING
- the blocks should be started to put with a corner block and to be continued up to fulfillment of the perimeter
- if a line of a perimeter is shorter than the length of the put block the excess should be sawn off.
- alongside an inner edge of the blocks to outline with the help of the chalky cord the inner perimeter and alongside its basis to fasten 25x100 mm planks, which would serve as a mark of the inner perimeter
3 STAGE – NEXT TURN ASSEMBLING
- assembling of the next turn also should be started in a corner, turning from a left corner block to the right or vice versa
- to assemble the AAB blocks on a previous turn so that the plastic slats lay over each other in a straight line
- to join the blocks between each other by pressing an upper block onto a lower one.
- to cut a block if necessary
- for complicated projects to use adjustable corner blocks
4 STAGE – STRENGTHENING AND REINFORCEMENT OF THE BLOCKS
- assembling of the next turn also should be started in a corner, turning from a left corner block to the right or vice versa
- to assemble the AAB blocks on a previous turn so that the plastic slats lay over each other in a straight line
- to join the blocks between each other by pressing an upper block onto a lower one.
- to cut a block if necessary
- for complicated projects to use adjustable corner blocks
5 STAGE – SHAPING OF DOOR AND WINDOW APERTURES
- the door and window apertures are shaped by cutting of the blocks in each turn
- after shaping of the door and window apertures there should be installed temporary wooden frames with extra support in the middle
- above plastic slats of the door and window apertures extra reinforcement must be installed in order to form an overlap beam
6 STAGE –AAB SYSTEM SHELVES ASSEMBLING AND LEVELLING OF WALLS
- after laying of a third or fourth turn inside a building at the plastic slats and at planks, which mark the perimeter , to fasten the AAB system shelves
- AAB system shelves would facilitate an upper blocks turn assembling and concrete work
- with the help of AAB adjustable shelves system to level the blocks either prior or after concreting.
7 STAGE – CONCRETING
- to fill in the blocks with concrete with the help of a concrete pump
- at first to fill in window apertures up to the level of a window sill
- in the blocks the concrete is filled in at places of shelves positioning so that the concrete flow evenly on sides
- to fill in the concrete evenly alongside the perimeter to the height up to 1 m approximately every time
- to conduct the concrete vibration knocking the plastic slats by a wooden or gum hammer
- to determine the filling level of the concrete in the blocks by sound of emptiness
8 STAGE – ASSEMBLING OF OVERLAP AND ROOF CONSTRUCTIONS
-above the walls to screw with anchor bolts a wall plate and to assemble overlap and roof constructions
9 STAGE – WINDOWS AND DOORS ASSEMBLING
10 STAGE – SHAPING OF COMMUNICATION CHANNELS
- with the help of a saw or a knife to fit electrical and water supply channels into the walls
11 STAGE – PROCESSING OF THE WALLS
- assembling material (rigips, wooden, plastic, metal and etc. material) is fastened with bolts to the plastic slats of the blocks
- plastering is applied in a traditional way, reinforcing it with a mesh
