Architect’s vision comes to life in France. RIPO framless balustrades with 12° torsion

Surrounded by mountains and sea in the scenic Monte Carlo, the newly built Monte Carlo Plaza apartment building stands out with a modern and unusual architectural solution. The architect’s vision of the building has been ambitious from the moment of design development to the very moment of construction – this has been a true challenge for developers, builders, designers, and also RIPO team. RIPO manufactures, supplies and installs framless balustrades with 12° torsion and customized balcony partitions as per the design.

Framless balustrades with 12° torsion have been specially developed by RIPO engineers for this project; therefore, Monte Carlo Plaza is the first project with such railings. But now these framless balustrades with torsion are also available to the general public. The complex structure of these railings is certified by a testing laboratory in Belgium, attesting the durability, sustainability and compliance of the railings with international standards.

Advantages of tempered glass railings:

  • Polished handrail profile which doesn’t heat up even on the hottest days in France.
  • Railings with 12-degree torsion, adapted to non-standard balconies.
  • Several hundred meters already installed with many other installations still taking place.
  • The railing solution is complemented by almost 100 balcony partitions.
  • Customized design.
