Finding the right solution: Inspiration and Material Palettes (Moodboards)

Each project starts somewhere else. It is an individual process developing through communication between the designer and the customer. Sometimes the vision of the end result is quite clear from the very beginning, but often the search for the right solution requires something more. Given the dynamic age, the fast pace of people's daily lives and the amount of information, very often the point of reference for beautiful projects is inspiration and material palettes (moodboards). It's a quick and easy way to showcase, customize, and vary materials, textures, and shades to suit the customer's taste and display the end result.

RIPO designer Jana (showroom at 14 Lacplesa Street) demonstrates clear examples of current trends in interior design and customer habits when choosing RIPO home furniture, built-in wardrobes, kitchen furniture or interior elements: wallpapers, fabrics, and decorative elements.

The experience and trends show that people are increasingly leaning towards nature. This can be seen in the selection of natural materials and their imitation, tactile textures, nature-inspired shades and integration of many plants, both real-life plants and their motifs.

No. 1

The classic palette of Latvian comfort materials is neutral - white and gray tones and decors with wood elements. However, for those who love such designs, the designer also recommends, for example, welcoming gray, brown, and almost black shades in textures and imitations of materials to complement the overall interior in a sophisticated manner.

No. 2

The designer also offers a sample for those who enjoy bolder and more saturated design. A balanced set of materials, shades and textures with smoky colors and metallic accents.

No. 3

And, of course, the moodboard with the color of the year: Classic Blue. A great insight into how materials, textures and Classic Blue color interact. Inspiration for a visually appealing and united material ensemble for your home. By the way, blue is historically considered a noble color bringing peace to the home.

If you are looking for the right interior solution, an advice from a professional designer is truly valuable. Welcome to RIPO showrooms
